At Basin Creek Realty, our theme color is GREEN. You will notice that green is used many times within our website and is almost always associated with our name. Basin Creek's real estate signs are green, the lettering of our company T-shirts is green, and even the chairs in our office lobby are green. We like green things, and we´re not the only ones who prefer that color.
In today´s energy conscious society, there is a way to build homes and businesses now that is called "Green Building." These "Green Buildings" use Solar Power, Hydro Power, Wind Power, or a combination of one or more of those to get the homeowner "off the grid." In other words, you are not totally dependent on electric, coal, or nuclear power companies to supply energy to you house or business.
Green Building Materials are generally referred to as materials that are recycled and environmentally conscious. These Green Building Materials provide for healthier indoor living due to less trapped gases and toxins in the air inside your home.
